  1. This is a level for E1L1 made like a space ship.

  4. TO PLAY THE SPACE SHIP: copy all the files into your DOOM directory and type 
  5. spaceshp
  6.         or
  7.     doom -file spaceshp.wad
  8.  
  9. The theme is Aliens, and really needs the alien sound effects and graphics 
  10. loaded to get the full affect of the level. They can be found on most share 
  11. point where Doom utils are (alien101.zip includes sounds, graphics and 9 new 
  12. levels).

  14. The story line is you were called in to exterminate the Aliens onboard a 
  15. Marine scout ship that was infected from contact with escape pod from a prison 
  16. barge.

  18. Special note:   You can go out into space, in this level,  but no one can hear 
  19.         you screem...
  20.         In the deathmatch game space takes on a new meaning.
  21.  
  22. YOUR MISSION:   If you choose to accept it. You will dock with the Pegasus
  23.         and work your way through the ship exterminating everything 
  24.         you see.
  25.  
  26. Deathmatch      The only way to go, It has many starting points for players 
  27.         (1-4) all with good wepons close to the stating points.
  28.         Levels 1,2 are best for this, fewer monsters to waste ammo on. 
  29.  
  30. skill level 1,2 Are for deathmatch and net games,(few monsters good perfor-
  31.         mance, good with using the -RESPAWN switch to keep the action 
  32.         going.) Lots of goodies & wepons to keep the frags numbers 
  33.         high. Remember, space is cold place, but not totaly empty.
  34.  
  35. skill level 3    Is a good hard single or multi player level
  36.         (you shouldn't need any extra ammo for this one!)
  37.         (The Marines left allot behind)
  38.  
  39. skill level 4   This one is for the multi player who want allot of action.
  40.         (may be too slow on some systems)
  41.  
  42. skill level 5   You are insane and should be shoot.

  44. INSTALLING STAR SCAPE: Copy all files to the DOOM directory,
  45.     WARNING: only for DOOM ver 1.2
  46.     Run the STARSIN.BAT program and it will replace the sky1 with a star 
  47.     seen.
  48.     To remove run STARSOUT.BAT.
